Farewell

I'm sure most of you have noticed a lack of posting over the last couple of months. I've been toying with the idea of letting go of the blog. It's been a great creative space but I just don't have the time to give it the attention it needs.

I would like to thank everyone who supported the blog, commented, creeped, etc. I'm thankful for it all.
I will still be active on my Twitter account & I've been VERY active on my Instagram account. Feel free to follow me on both platforms.

Hair Diaries: Transition + Tumblr

I recently decided to transition from relaxed hair to natural. I found that I needed constant inspiration to continue on with my goal so I created a Tumblr. It's simply my open diary of images, music and sometimes short written words about my transition. It is really personal to me. I will make a follow up 'Hair Diary' post about my transition shortly, let me know if you want one :)
If you enjoy beautiful hair, go take a look & don't be shy to follow.

OOTD: The Puffer Vest

I saw this vest at The Gap & fell in love immediately. The last time I bought a Gap piece and fell in love was circa 'Gap Sweater' days. You guys know what I'm talking about right? They came in every color of the rainbow with big block letters on the front with The Gap Logo. I had a few, I won't lie.

I paired it with a few of my favorite pieces. My inner tomboy shines in this outfit. But I couldn't let my girly-side die out, I got shellac nails & it is now a new addiction. It is pure nail love.

Outfit of The Day: Relaxation Station

On Saturday I was in need of a relaxing day. As the school semester winds down post-grad schooling is proving to be a lot more intense than I imagined.

I decided to spend the day with one of my girlfriends. We did brunch, nails and some much needed chit chat. Think mimosas, french toast & shellac! Basically heaven.

The weather has been warmer than usual here in Toronto especially since it's November. I went with a simple outfit, as per usual.

Side note: I know I'm not the only one who feels uber posh when wearing fur.

Pants: Roots
Cardigan: Zara Mens
T-shirt: Zara Basics
Fur: H&M
Boots: Aldo
Clutch: American Apparel
