Sunday Snapshots...

I've decided to do a weekly scheduled blog post to keep me on track with this whole blogging shindig. I'm very much a type-A personality/constantly organizing/schedule following/list making-kind of person, so scheduled posts only make sense.

I'm not entirely sure of how these post will be structured, I'm playing with the idea of one picture each week or multiple pictures from throughout the week. Feedback? Drop me a line.

 Christmas Nails! American Apparel polish in 'Downtown LA' & OPI top coat in 'Only Gold for Me'

 I was a sick bugger all week. Runny nose, sinus headache, sniffles, and absolutely everything in between. The girls at David's Tea recommended "Jessie's Tea" I don't think it did much, but tasted great:)

 Beauties. Stunners. Neck Breakers. I could go on with words to describe how much I love these shoes. Boxing day purchase from Nine West. Wore them for New Years Eve and the platform in them makes them super comfortable, & I'm not lying just because they're pretty.

A few Christmas cards from the co-workers. Christmas came and went as well as New Years. I have a great feeling about this year.

Ready, Set, BLOG!

Welcome to my blog! My english teacher always taught me the importance of 5 W's, so here it goes...

Who?

My name is Dorcas Ola. Dorcas is my first name. Ola is part of my middle name & has quickly become my blogging/writing name. I'm a 21yr old undergraduate student at a university in Toronto, with an unhealthy interest in the beauty industry.

What?

What will I be blogging about? Mostly beauty related posts, personal style posts, and whatever else my heart desires. By no means am I an expert in any of the fields, just an enthusiast.

When?

The idea of creating a blog has been on my mind for at least a year. December 2010 marked the first real steps towards making it a reality. December 28th 2010 marks the very first post.

Where?

 Currently residing in the amazing city of Toronto, Ontario in Canada. Toronto is a vibrant city full of diverse culture and amazing sights, I LOVE my city.

Why?

I'm in my last 4 months of my Criminology/Psychology degree at university and I've finally realized what career path I want to take, which of course is neither psychology or criminology.  Don't get me wrong, all things crime still excite me, its just time for a change. I'm making the transition to the communications field and I feel this blog will be a great platform to mark my progress, create a body of writing work, and just a overall great hobby.
