LG Fashion Week Highlights

I was given the amazing opportunity to attend LG Fashion Week here in Toronto a few weeks ago. I can not begin to tell you how amazing it was. I got my hands on VIP passes thanks to the great PR team over at CP24. The atmosphere was amazing, the days/nights were filled with great fashion, beautiful models, and some of Toronto's heavy hitters in the fashion business.

Below were some of the pictures from the shows I enjoyed the most. The biggest beauty trend I saw was the attention to nail design. A move from the classic square nails to rounded tips and in-your-face nail art.

For me my favorite fashion trends were the inclusion of fur and color. Joe Fresh ignited the runways with fire bold Orange pieces, while Izma infused every design with a sleek fur piece.

The stand-out piece for me was the a printed maxi by David Dixon (pictured below), it's something I want to get my hands on. I was impressed by Klaxon Howl's line, the menswear was stunning and the execution of the runway was so creative. The boys didn't just do a classic walk, they incorporated props and told somewhat of a story.

Overall, the designer to look out for is Amanda Lew Kee her show was stunning, her pieces unique (think sheer, colorful, & flowy) & she scored brownie points with me for having all her models stomping the runway in Sam Edelman Zoyla shoes.

Sunday Snapshot 13.

Lucky 13.

Nope there are not 13 pictures, no need to count.

But this was a bit of my week, switched up the Sunday snapshot structure.

one. I did a bit of babysitting, its safe to say I am sure I am not ready to be a mother anytime soon.

two. my last early morning trek to uni.

three. studying solo on campus.

four. It was my cousin's birthday so I got her some brogues. I have the same pair in another color.

five. Coffee on deck, gotta love the mug.

six. cupcakes, yum.
seven. STACKED! I'm loving mixing metals/textures & excessive bracelets.

eight. counting down the days till take off, tickets are printed & ready.

DRESSmeUP!

I was gone for a minute now I'm back! Done University, thank God. I'm slowly easing back into the swing of things.

The weather is getting warmer & it seems like my eyes have been much more drawn to dresses. So here are a few dresses I've been lemming.

All the dresses are from French Connection, I love the romantic-girly feel they have. The light colors and airy fabrics make me feel like I should be frolicking in some vast field.
If I were to get them all I'd be ringing up a bill over 1000$ urgh :s A girl can only wish.

Sunday Snapshot 12.

one. Yes, I'm alive & currently a bad blogger.

two. Next Sunday I write my last uni exam & then I'm officially done my undergrad, excuse me while I dance and celebrate *woot woot*

six. I've decided that Sunday Snapshot won't happen every week but just when I feel like it. My blog is a creative outlet, so when I feel creative or feel like writing, I'll blog. Simple concept,why did it take me so long to figure out. I want to enjoy the blogging journey as much as possible.
